1. Spirit Animal Shenanigans (has been posted to AO3 and fanfiction.net; incomplete)
They say the first human to bond with a spirit animal was a king. He was a strong, proud leader that reigned undefeated until dying in old age. His name was Romulus Vargas, and all witness accounts detailed vibrant, amber eyes, an untidy mess of curly, oak-brown hair, attractively tanned skin, and a smile so charming you could never stay mad at him. He was kind, powerful, intelligent, and came to rule almost all lands, from where the sun rose in the east, to where it set in the west. However, he was very materialistic.

2. Behind Closed Doors (title tentative; still WIP; unposted, and definitely incomplete)
I heard muffled screaming in the background, a chorus of angels tolling and singing in tandem with the bells of my demise. At the hellish overture of wicked, earth shattering noise, I felt the ground beneath me tremble. Was this death? Strange, in church they always said there would be a bright, welcoming light. They said you could reach towards it and it would engulf all of your sins, washing them away until it left you clean and fresh as a newborn baby. Although, that was only if you were good. Did vampires even go to heaven?

3. From Russia with Love (unposted; a play I wrote for Creative Writing I last year, that’s actually fanfiction; complete)
Lights on. The setting is the town square of a small, charming town. In the middle of the square is a fountain; lots of flowers are planted in the area, and the square is bordered by local shops. Various people bustle about, carrying on with their business. FRANCIS enters and stands by the fountain. He has a killer taste in fashion, and it shows with his brightly-colored, but simple, attire. He moves with an air of sophisticated grace. He pulls out his cell phone and dials a number, holding it to his ear.

4. Every Good Story Starts at the Bar (posted to Tumblr; sort of complete? Like? It’s a one-shot in an incomplete series?)
The night was old and most rational people had gone to bed, yet one small, hole-in-the-wall building felt every bit as alive as town square at noon. Scruffy and ragged patrons of the bar filled the room, a smelly sea of ne’er do wells. The lights were dim. The door was forcefully kicked open to reveal a Davie’s regular, a man in his twenties with a hard expression and a long, long coat. Tonight, his hard expression was bruised, and splotches of dried blood hemmed the bottom of his coat. Despite his flashy entrance, he took his usual seat at the bar with the calculated calm of someone who knew they were getting what they came for, regardless of presence.

5. Heads (the unposted, incomplete rewrite of Two Sides of the Same Coin, a crappy HS fanfic I posted to AO3 a few years back)
You know, my life wasn’t always such a trainwreck. I had money, family, a bright future ahead of me. All of that is gone now, and while it’s not unbearable, the bullshit that came to fill in the gaps isn’t exactly wanted. A lot of the time, it’s the opposite case. Take, for example, right now.
